Good News!!

Hey, guess who's still together after all the crap that's gone on between them?
Your butt cheeks.

I am sorry, I know this is inappropiate and crass, but I thought it was so stinking funny, I couldn't resist. I am afraid some things will never change for me. The things I find humorous just might be permanent.

Park City Trip

Zac and I just returned from a fun vacation in Park City. We had a little a reunion with his family and then his brother got married at the end of the week. It was a lot of fun. We went on the zip line down the mountain. We visited the Olypic ski site and watched the jumpers literally fly into the air. The weather was so nice.

Zac surprised me with this jacket (you see in the picture) when we got home. I spotted it at a ski store the first day we were there and talked about it everyday after. I fell in love with everything about it. He snuck out one day and bought it for me with out me knowing. He just gave it to me this morning and I was so excited- totally not expecting it at all.

After spending a week in Park City, Zac and I decided we want to live in a smaller town, with lots of nice people who all know each other. We made friends with the guy at Maverick who laughed at us everytime we came to get my soft serve cone, the people in line at the zipline and the people at the pool. People were just nice there and it was so refreshing.

We are back in Arizona now for about a week and then we leave for Yosemite for my family vacation. I am a little worried about no shower for a week, but I guess it's good to rough it every once in a while. I have to act tough in front of Zac, j/k. He totally knows I am a little bit of a wuss when it comes to the outdoors. It shouldn't be too bad though, he promises me my sleeping bag is good for temperatures as low as -50 degrees. That should keep me from getting cold I suppose.

Forgive Me!!

So it has been a while since I last wrote. There is a good chance I have lost my blogger friends. If you are reading this, please forgive me. I have no excuse to give you other than I haven't had anything really blog-worthy to write about. Here is a brief summary of what has been going down in the happening town of Peoria the past month and a half:

I recently celebrated my 25th birthday on the 29th of June. I got a swim raft.

I won $70 at work. Well it was kind of like a raffle/lottery I entered. I don't think I would consider it gambling though.

Zac and I realized most definately that we live in a "white-trash" neighborhood.

Many enjoyable hours spent on my raft at the pool soaking in the summer rays. (To all you worriers, I wear sunscreen now.)

Zac and I went on a walk about a month or so ago, before, when it was only in the 90's at night.

Our electric bill almost gave me an ucler this month.

Sounds like I need a vacation huh? Yep, and I am going on one tomorrow morning. Zac and I are going to Park City for the week with his family. His brother is getting married on the 21st in Salt Lake and then we are flying home. I am so excited.

This blog is a bit boring, I know. I will end by telling you a few things I am grateful for.

Air conditioning, popsicles, Zac, and fans.
