The Final Speech

Zac's friend, Isac, was kind enough to put together a motivational speech before their major anatomy exam tomorrow. Here are just a few lines I thought were pretty funny and so true. Picture him being totally serious with "Chariots of Fire" playing in the background.

"As I sat on the throne (toilet) pondering what I was going to tell you boys tonight...

...while the BMW driver and his hoodlums played basketball and drank beer, you and your peers chalked up endless hours in a secluded room on the first floor of the library with nothing but a skeleton.

...Neglecting hygiene, women, and social interaction you resiliantly trudged forward fueled soley by Teddy Grahams, lucky notebooks, and the occasional fantasy about a chicken sandwich."

This exam is such a huge part of their grade that a speech is almost necessary. Zac has not been himself the last week. Instead of watching BYU footballs games, he goes to the library. Instead of going on dates with me, he goes to study reviews. Instead of checking the Cougar update on the internet he looks up slides for Histology. Where, oh where has my Zac gone?
It is kind of cool to see him push himself so hard. The only way he could explain to me how difficult it is going to be was to relate it to having to run a marathon in a week, not having ran for years, and in flip-flops. Not properly trained or equipped, it would be pretty painful. After he used that example I asked him what he would rather do at this point, run a marathon (Zac despises running), or take the test tomorrow. His reply, "the marathon." It must be pretty miserable if he chose to run 26 miles, the guy who won't run to the mailbox and back, over taking the test. I told him to let Michael, from the Office, be his inspiration for this one. If he can finish a 5K in his conditions, Zac can pass this beast of a test.

These are the magical cookies I make for the boys while they study. They are filled with brain stimulating ingredients such as sugar, butter and chocolate. Most definately effective.

So the test is over and now the question is, how did he do? I hope that it went well and that you maybe will get to see him a little more before the next big test. You're so nice to make cookies for Z-dawg and his friends-what a cute wife you are!

The speech reminds me of something out of the office. This Isac character is a crack-up. Is that Dust's little white leg peeking out on the side? He said the tests were killer... is everyone still alive and kicking? Tell them it's a scare tactic and to keep up the good work!!!

I think those cookies are magical. Plus I love, love, love the office!! Let us know if Zac did good on his test.
PS- You should have added in nipple chafing like Andrews to the marathon comparison, I bet Zac would have taken to test!
